Lori Betzer Thursday, April 15, 2004 DANVILLE, CALIFORNIA Lorraine Lee "Lori" Betzer, born March 3, 1920, in Drumwright, Okla., to George Bridge Sr., Cherokee Indian, and Marie Bridge, died April 6, 2004, at home, after a short battle with lung cancer. Lori migrated to Northern California in 1952, where she was a contract writer/artist of country-western music with Capitol Records. She worked as an ophthalmology nurse at Kaiser Vallejo and later retired from that profession after 25 years. Lori is survived by daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Jerry Brandt of Danville; son, David Lee of Napa; three granddaughters, Tiffany Valente and Heather Brandt, both of Danville, and Kristina Lee of Napa. She had one great-grandson, Michael Valente. She is also survived by one brother, Dale Smart of Oklahoma City, Okla., one sister, Bonnie Odom of Lubbock, Texas, and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to join Lori's family for a memorial service at noon, Saturday, April 17 at East Bay Fellowship, 2615 Camino Tassajara in Danville.
