Looking for information on the above mentioned people. I am descending from William's son Alexander, and his son James. I think I might have a gap between Alexander and James, so I want to check with these individual's. I have the following information: William David McDaniel was born about 1716 in Scotland and married Sookie "Granny" Hopper in 1762. She was born about 1742 in Cherokee Nation East, TN. Together they had Alexander McDaniel who married Mary Wilson. They lived in Moundsville, WV (Mason County). They had James McDaniel in 1848, who married Martha (Patsy or J. ?) Gardner, May 23, 1872. James died September 14, 1899 and Martha was born before 1861. together they had Lena Maria McDaniel who was born August 2, 1889 in Montgomery, WV (Fayette County). She married Homer Boyd Kersey, born August 21, 1890 and died May 12, 1967 in Witcher, WV (Kanawha County). Together, they had my grandmother, Mary Annabelle Kersey, on November 8, 1912 in Gauley Bridge, WV (Fayette County). I'd like to find more informatin of James and Martha and after.
