Hello, I was wondering if anyone had done the DNA testing and if they had any luck in them? I have been trying to research my family, and keep hitting dead ends. My great-grandfather was full blood Cherokee, but was adopted by a white family. We have not been able to get any further then that. I thought if maybe we did the DNA it would help. I have been told that once we have the DNA results that we can be put into a database, where we could be matched up with other results. Is this true? I also would like to get a reputable DNA lab to do the test as well, so if any one has recommendations on that, it would be wonderful. Thank you in advance for any help that you can give me.
