    1. O'Neal and Howard
    2. connie mead
    3. If I could, I would like to cheat and invite two ancestors to Thanksgiving dinner: They are both very elusive. My first choice would be my great great grandfather on my mother's side. I do not know who you are. You fathered my great grandfather, WILLIAM HOUSTON JONES, (DOB April 15, 1873, DOD January 7, 1940) probably in Morgan County, Tennessee. His mother was Margaret Jones. He was raised by his grandparents, William and Martha Jones. It is rumored that your last name is Howard. The other person that I would invite DAVID O'NEAL. You are my great grandfather on my dad's side of the family. You were born in the mid 1800, probably around 1860. You may have been in the Spanish American War. If you were, you were AWOL alot and you were discharged to Atlanta. Could you have lived and died there? You were married to my great grandmother, LAURA MORGAN (a/k/a LAURA TAYLOR). You are possibly from Loudon County, Tennessee. That is where you married Laura. you may have met Laura in North Carolina. You may have lived in Knox County with her. You dropped off the face of the earth after your marriage. Were you beamed up to Mars? Are you still alive? (Not!?!?) Come to my house and we will have all of the southern traditional Thanksgiving Dishes. I am a pretty good cook, as I am sure that my ancestors were. 3. We have heard stories all our life of our Native American heritage. Sadly all the Elders have passed on and we have no way to verify it. We are searching the rolls and other various info, to document this. Without a shadow of doubt I know I am a Cherokee Native American, and proudly proclaim this HERITAGE. With your help hopefully I can document this. Does anyone have any ties with the Gunnells, Boyd, Turrentine, Drake, and Walker families and know any info on the above. Thanks for your help. Danny J.
