Good morning everyone! Sleepy times were disturbed shortly after 1 a.m. with a loud clap of thunder and lightning and the noise didn't last long and back to sleepy land figuring the rain clouds had passed us by another time; however, we awoke to light rain falling - all soaked in as there wasn't enough to create run off! We have had about 9 or 10 hours of slow raining - it wont be enough to put water into the lakes. It might put a little winter rye and other grasses into the pasturelands, but I heard a "truck farmer" speaking this morning that this is too little too late that will be noticed in the local farmers markets as well. The sky sounds like a boom box right now. Bettye
