Cowinjun, I noticed in your signature you have Echota Cherokee Tribe of Alabama. Do you live in Alabama ? Can you tell me of North East Alabama. I need to get up there to do research. My folks on my mothers side had been in the DeKalb, Etowah, area far back that I can find 1850 this is far as I can get on with any certainty. Has this area a great history??? I have read things about that part of the country on the web sites, but to hear it from one living there and 1st hand knowledge of the history would be great. Barb sc
