I have 2 natural kids One is still in Calif. One last year moved to Washington State from Calif. They each have 3 kids and my boy has one on the way. I have two children here in South Carolina with me. They are physically my sisters kids but I adopted them both when they were born. The girl is 19 and the boy 17. I don't really like winter much but I do like to watch and hear the snow fall. I love Spring here in South Carolina it is an explosion of color and smells.Calif was not much of anything in Spring except a bunch of kids at the beach. When I was young I use to love the smell of orange trees and eucalyptis treees in Southern Calif. But, those are long gone replaced my the smell of Asphalt, Gasoline, and gun powder. Hi Barb, I am 46 1/2 yrs old and I have lived in Smock, PA practically my whole life. I have visited Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, Arizona, Nevada, Maryland, and Texas. But I am hoping to visit South Carolina in June. I hear that it is beautiful and I would love to see it. I liked Arizona because I love the hot weather and we visited an old ghost town where donkeys just roamed through the town, this was different. I felt like I was back in the 1800's. I love to visit historical sites. I did not like Texas, the roads were long and flat (no hills), and though I loved the heat - everywhere you went you froze to death because of the air conditioning. I would have to live outside if I ever moved there. I like Maryland and some parts of Virginia, I don't like big cities, I would never live in one, I enjoy the country.
