I dont see the part reference, but since people use it for a general term part this and part that - it is a popular term. I use it too, I guess we could use something else. like ? Dunno. English, Irish, Dutch, Scots, Indian ? Mix .? I really do not know many of ours, my old folks just had lots of opinions. Non to accurate - like for our Cherokee, many stories, but always the same people names. My folks did not talk about this much because there was to many others who were causing problems for those people who they knew how they were related back then. So that subject was dropped, my mom always said she did not want to talk about it .
