Shadow Bear, I sure do remember the phone on the wall....two longs and a short (rings)....that was my grandmother's number. We had to ring up the operator to have her make a call for us. Yes, crank it. lol My parents would hold me up in the air to let me crank it when they were going to make a call. I couldn't reach it.
