    3. I'm working on going thru the last 2 links. But so far they have been pretty interesting & it seems that the Oregon & Washington laws are the same, or fairly close. So I'd guess it's safe to assume that all states have the same or similar such laws as what the first 2 provide? the "trackback" portion of the 3rd link doesn't have any workable links w/the "put that in your peace pipe & smoke it" or Read more links :( I'm looking at the 3rd link now......also interesting but not into it enough to say much. Thanks again Dan Alli :) >I am not posting any excerpts, if interested, please view the websites. > I am sending 2 messages so AOL will not filter them in spam. > I suggest reading these sites before making personal opinions about > artifacts > ========= > The Law and American Indian Grave Protection > Oregon > http://www.ibsgwatch.imagedjinn.com/learn/oregonlaw.htm > > Washington > http://www.ibsgwatch.imagedjinn.com/learn/washingtonlaw.htm > > Beware the Indian-artifacts police > http://www.overlawyered.com/2004/08/beware_the_indianartifacts_pol.html > > CHILKAT INDIAN VILLAGE TRIBAL COURT > http://www.ankn.uaf.edu/curriculum/Tlingit/ChilkatIndianVillage/ > ==================== > Dan M > > > ==== CHEROKEE Mailing List ==== > <<>OPEN forum to all Cherokee topics - except Genealogy<>> > <>Culture-History-Language-Folk lore and Truths<> > Good Manners & Language is required to be on the list > ALL the links you will need to sub and unsub or contact listowner below > http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/other/Ethnic-Native/CHEROKEE.html > > ============================== > New!
