Hi Bev, That seems to coincide closely to the family outline that was provided to me by a Clubb family researcher who managed to get a copy. Actually, I have 2 outlines. 1. Descendants of Moytoy of Settico 2. Outline for Brown family starting with Attakullakulla. My Gr. Great grandmother was a, as best as I can figure, step sister to Charlie Francis Brown. Her name was Violetta Elizabeth Brown, daughter of John Thomas Brown and, I suspect, Annie Liddle Russell due to her reported year of birth. I believe that Violetta reported her mother as Martha Bryant on her Guion Miller Roll application so I suspect that she may have always thought that Martha was her mother if John T. Brown married Martha while Violetta was very young. The Clubb family researcher who gave me the outlines was sure to tell me that it was unverified information. Sure seems like alot of assumption to me. However, I think one only need to look at photos of my Grandmother and Great Aunts to be certain that there is, in fact, Native American lineage in our family. I, being a relatively new researcher, have only dabbled at trying to investigate my Native American heritage due to my own research ignorances. It saddened me to find out that my Great Grandfather feared for the safety of his family and never investigated our heritage of which I am so proud no matter what our degree nativity. The only members of my family that might recall any tangible research leads are long since gone. My Grandmother rarely ever spoke of her very turbulent youth in Oklahoma. To my knowledge none of the few remaining family members know anything of the death and/or burial of Violetta Elizabeth Brown or her husband Frank Clubb. Thanks for sharing, Bev.
