Hello Listmembers: Where I grew up in S GA, N FL, there was a grass that grew all the time that Granny said cured headaches. Nobody in our family ever had a headache, so the medicine was not used by any of us; however, now and then, Granny would pack her medicine basket with some things, put the grass inside and walk over to a neighboring house and administer the grass meds. Now I know what my grgrands say when I tell them about this, so I have some idea of the meaning of today's grass. Does anyone on this list know the name of that grass? If I saw it I would recognize it, but it does not grow up north. I should say I have never seen it up north, past NC. preciate any info. Fran Chinkapin
