    3. I was in a school like that, there were rows of bench desks each was 1 grade all in the same room. The older kids would slap us littler ones in the back of the head when the teacher would turn her back, we would dip our pens in the well and flick ink on them then it would get noisy, some one would roll up a paper and make a spit wad then hit the teacher and we would all have to catch heck because the no one would tell on the other, every one would bust out laughing at the teachers dismayed looks and we would do chores for recess and after school we would catch it at home because our parents then were mad because they had to wait after school to take us home. So all in all we found out, there was a strap at school and home, plus chores and so we soon stopped getting into trouble. All the parents would get together where we lived and all us kids were on dangerous grounds goofing up. Now as for how people were treated - we had some Indian boys ,and some Mexicans, every one was treated the same there. In the early years like Shadowbear speaks I have only read about from the actual people and just say this - I was glad to see times change for the kids in school. 3. Again, not my words, but again from the band Creed, "ONE", from the album "My Own Prison" One Affirmative may be justified Take from one give to another The goal is to be unified Take my hand be my brother The payment silenced the masses Sanctified by oppression Unity took a back seat Sliding further in regression One The only way is one I feel angry I feel helpless Want to change the world I feel violent I feel alone Don't try and change my mind Society blind by color Why hold down one to raise another Discrimination now on both sides Seeds of hate blossom further The world is heading for mutiny When all we want is Unity We may rise and fall, but in the end We meet our fate together One The only way is one I feel angry I feel helpless Want to change the world I feel violent I feel alone Don't try and change my mind

    1. What If
    2. Edward Reynolds
    3. These are not my words, but words from a song on the band Creeds "Human Clay" album. I post them because they make you think. What If. I can't gind the rhyme in all of my reason I've lost sense of time and all seasons I feel I've been beaten down By the words of men who have no gounds I can't sleep beneath the trees of wisdom When your ax has cut the roots that feed them Forked tongues in bitter mouths Can drive a man to bleed from inside out What if you did? What if you lied? What if I avenge? What if eye for an eye? I've seen the wicked fruit of your vine Destroy the man who lacks a strong mind Human pride sings a vengeful song Inspired by the times you've been walked on My state is shared by many million Who lift their hands up high Because they feel this We are one We are strong The more you hold us down The more we press on What if you did? What if you lied? What if I avenge? What if eye for an eye? I know I can't hold hate Inside my mind 'Cause what consumes your thoughts Controls your life So I'll just ask a question What If? What if your words could be judges like a crime?
