Sorry, I have not researched this surname in Rhodes. Having difficulty finding and confirming the ancestry for Francois Chaudoin who either came with his parents or by himself to America. His ancestor's surname has been given incorrectly as Chaudron by an early researcher who confirmed to me prior to his death of the error. The problem is that so many descendants pick up this wrong connection, thus they have the incorrect father and father's surname for Francois Chaudoin. If you have any research to add, please feel free to contribute. Also, we have a Chaudoin/and variants Y-DNA Project, but yet have had no Chaudoin surnamed men participating.
