Hello, Martha, I have seen your postings in the past. In the past you have named her as Eliza CHAUDOIN at times, I believe. Andrew Chaudoin b 1763 had a son, Thomas Guthrie Chaudoin b 1792. Is he the one you name below as "Thomas Chaudoin"? I have him as marrying 3 times according to the research of Robert Righter, now deceased. Perhaps there is some kind of relationship, but as yet I have seen no reference to her in any of the estate papers of R. S. Sanders. I will surely post any information should it be found among R. S. Sanders research. Are you looking at possibly an illegitimacy and thus that would be the reason for Andrew accepting guardianship? What leads you to believe she was originally a FIELD? My Eliza Field chose Andrew Chaudoin to be her guardian. She married George W. Fields in 1834 in Green County, Kentucky. They lived next door to Thomas Chaudoin before they moved to Hardin County, Kentucky. Any information on why she would choose Andrew as her guardian? Was Thomas his son? Thanks, Martha
