I have very little information for Prescilla Chandler; I show she was born abt 1799 in Washington County KY and married Samuel O Chaudoin abt 1818 in Washington County. She is shown as "Ciller" in the 1850 Whitley County KY census and as Prescilla in the 1860 Lincoln County KY census. I list Samuel O Chaudoin as dying in 1872 Lincoln County, but I can't substantiate that information, nor can I find Samuel or Prescilla in the 1870 census but that may be a name variant problem. In the Ancestry 1860 census listing, I found Samuel by calling up George Turnbull on the transcribed listing and viewing the original data. Samuel is living next door; apparently he was missed in the transcribed listings. Samuel and Prescilla's daughter Anna married George W Turnbull in Lincoln County KY on 18 Mar 1851. They are found in the 1870 and 1880 Lincoln Census, Crab Orchard District. In the 1! 900 census, Anna is a widow living in Eugene Oaks house hold in Howell County, MO. Anna's daughter, Mary E is married to Eugene Oaks. Eugene Oaks, 1857-1935 was born in Lincoln County, KY. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
