This ancestral connection is FALSE, and to continue to perpetuate this fallacy is doing a disservice to the CHAUDOIN family and to your own lineage. The Francois CHAUDRON with dates as given for the father of Francois CHAUDOIN died at age 2 years of age according to ORIGINAL French records, and should not be construed to indicate that Francois Chaudron was the French ancestor of this family line. NO proof to this day has been found to invalidate the original spelling of the surname CHAUDOIN by any other seasoned researcher. No other seasoned researcher has found evidence to support the Chaudoin to Chaudron connection. Francois Chaudoin's true parentage is yet to be unearthed!
