Would be grateful for others' thoughts, knowledge, and information concerning families and relationship of those listed from the files of R. S. Sanders. Would appreciate others posting any vital information that they may have in their possession, so that we can bring our family lines together with vital records or family records that will support lineages. If incorrect, then things can be corrected with the more information we have at hand. If this file of R. S. Sanders hadn't been recovered from a chest drawer at an auction. A kind person recognized the value of the material within and posted the find on the CHAUDOIN BB. All would have been lost. We have lost avid seasoned researchers of the CHAUDOIN family: Jeter Grimsley, R. S. Chaudoin, and Robert Righter...all who contributed information in the past, but not everything. These men communicated with each other and others for many years prior to my entry into the CHAUDOIN world of my husband. Morrison/Morris married twice according to another's record and the wives were the same as mentioned above. Morrison/Morris appears to be the s/o David Shadowens & (Susannah) Reeder. He is said brother to Claiborn Shadowens. ash] ************************************************* [Could this be John Shadowens above with wife S. E. Griffith (S. E. for S. Elizabeth?) Who are John's parents? Both parents are given as being born in VA. ash] 1880 U. S. Evidently she and Andrew J. were children of Pernescie from a former marriage or they could have even been his step-children from his marriage to (2) Sarah Osborn, if she was married previously and had children. Both Andrew and Sarah are evidently going by the Shadowens surname. Any thoughts or knowledge anyone? ash
