Some dates are not given, but perhaps appear in the original record. Can anyone validate who this David would be? At the present, this appears to be David C. CHAUDOIN, s/o Francois CHAUDOIN & Sarah WEAVER, who is said to have married a Mary DAVID. He and brothers are said to have left Virginia ca 1808 for Green Co., KY. Eventually David left Green Co., KY for Marion County, Tennessee where he died. "Andrew Chaudion" (sic) appears to have been Andrew CHAUDOIN, s/o Francois CHAUDOIN "Andrew and Sally Chaudion" appear to have been Andrew CHAUDOIN, s/o Francois CHAUDOIN & Sarah WEAVER, and Sally appears to have been the Mrs. Sarah (MOORE) MATTHEWS-CHAUDOIN (said dau/o Robert MOORE & Susannah King GUTHRIE) who married (2) Andrew CHAUDOIN. Audrey *********************************************** Green County, Kentucky Deeds Book 4, Page 290 March 8, 1806 This indenture made this 8th day of March in the year of our Lord 1806 between John I. Winston of the county of Green and the State of Ky. of the one part and David Shadion of the same county and state of the other part. Witnessed that the said John I. Winston for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars by the said David Shadion paid doth by these present give, grant, alien and confuer unto the said David Shadion a certain tract or parcel of Land containing seventy-five acres of land lying and being in Green Co. on the waters of Pitman Creek, and bounded as follows to wit. Beginning at a Buck and poplar corner to Sally Anderson's lot. Thence with her line south 45 East so far that corner as that by turning at right angles 125 poles or until it strikes the south line of the survey, thence south 45 West 125 poles to the beginning so that seventy-five acres be included. To have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land unto the said David Shadion and his heirs forever and the said John I. Winston his heirs doth hereby consent and agree to and with said David Shadion to warrant and deferr the aforesaid tract of land unto the said David Shadion and his heirs forever from the title interest claim and durance of him and his heirs and from every other person or persons whatsoever. In testimony where of the said John I. Winston hath here unto set his hand and offered us this seal this 8th day of March 1806 and 14th year of the Commonwealth. John I. Winston Teste. John I. Winston paid David and Mary Chaudion $150.00 for the same tract of land he sold them March 8th 1806. ASH] Andrew and Sally Chaudion bought land from Robert Bailey for $100.00. Andrew signed. Sally made her mark.
