However, all men participating do not bear the CHAUDOIN surname, so we are still in the dark as to how those bearing the CHAUDOIN surname may or may not match with others. In other words we do not have any base DNA participants for the CHAUDOIN surname or even SHADOWEN, SHADOWENS, SHADOAN, etc. who claim descendancy from Francois CHAUDOIN.
