    1. chaudoin family line
    2. my name is gina chaudoin. my grandfather's name was delbert b. chaudoin. his parents were enos (maybe george) chaudoin and molly hutchinson. grandpa delbert was born in cave city, ar and had 4 brothers. their names were marvin, enos, gomer, and george. there were no sisters that we know of. altho most of the family continued to live in arkansas; great-uncle gomer lived in benton harbor, michigan for years and later died there (as far as i have been able to tell), and great-uncle george-though i'm not sure where he lived most of his life-i'm fairly certain that he died in oregon. cave city, arkansas is in sharp county arkansas.i don't know about the paternal uncles, but i know grandad (delbert b) married lucille logan and to this union were born 4 children: delbert lee, donald brown, david lee and dorothy jean. my father is delbert lee, who married barbara kincaid in 1965. i have two sisters, toni lea, and charity love; i am the oldest of the three of us. if anyone could give me any more info, i would appreciate it. i'm still trying to search out more dates, names and places, and i will add it as i find out. thanks for all your help gina chaudoin-holbrooks

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Shadowen (all spellings) Parker, Timmons Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/jUI.2ACEB/87 Message Board Post: My name is Robbie Robinson Teters. I am part of the Shadowens line from LA/TX. Our line goes back to VA, KY, ARK, etc. I will try to give you information as I know it on our family and maybe this will help someone or fill in the blanks. I have a picture of “Mandy Ann Shadowen Parker, John Parker, Louise Parker and her husband, Pearl Breedlove Shadowen, Major Ezelle Shadowen, Buford Shadowen and Levenior Shadowen”. If anyone is interested, please email and I will forward. There is also a separate picture of Major Ezelle, Mandy Ann and a lady who I consider to be Dolly Woodrum Shadowens but I am not positive about her. All of the names are written on the back in pencil so it is hard to read but I think it says 1930 by Fox Films. I am Robbie and my mother is Patsy Ruth Timmons, who is the daughter of Reathel Emaline Shadowens Timmons. Major Ezelle Shadowens b. 1880 and Malinda Pearl Breedlove were Reathel’s parents. Their other children are: Willcie b. May 20, 1902 and died November 10, 1902 as an infant, William Leonard b. July 24, 1904, Robert Buford b. June 9, 1908, Reuben Ezelle (major’s middle name given) b. Feb 12, 1915 and Levenior Ruth b. Apr 16, 1920. There may be more children but the above was taken directly out of Malinda Pearl’s bible which I have. If anyone would like a copy of the handwritten notes on births, deaths, marriages, I will forward. Major Ezelle’s parents were: Holland Coffee Shadowen (Shadion) b. 1842 and Dolly Ann Woodrum. Other children to them were: James, Amanda, Susan, William, Annie and Jack. Holland Coffee’s parents were: James Chaudoin born around 1800. This is the same James that was married to Patsy Dubois on Jan 8, 1848. The following children were James’ but I am not sure about who the mother was. John, Sam H, Susan, Almira, Belinda, Nancy and Benjamin. James Chaudoin’s father was David Chaudoin who was married to a Mary (?). David had the following children: James, David Jr., Mary. *I read that David Sr, Mary, and David Jr are all buried in the Cheekville cemetery, Whitehall, TN but I have not verified. Mt. Zion Cemetery is where Holland Coffee and Dolly Ann are buried along with a lot of their children. This is a general overview of what I have. I do have more information that is person specific. If you connect to this line and would like to share information, please email me at [email protected]

Mary Meadors Heard KIlmer is suppose to be the mother of our Early Kilmer. I can find a James and a Jacob Kilmer in Marion County, Tenn. in the 3rd District in 1836. The Kilmers are my husband's line. I started looking 10 years ago for a Mary Pyburn who went from Ga., Tenn, to Mo. and finally to Texas between 1820-1900. I as descended from a Mary (unknown) Pyburn Roberts in Wise County, Texas. I can find her on the1850 census married to an Eli Roberts. Obviously, something has happened to her first husband Mr. Pyburn. I can not find her with Nancy Elizabeth PYburn(my great-great-grandmother). In 1908, Mary Pyburn Roberts stated she had to go back for her daughters-one being my Nancy.
