It is an old cemetery with two Loyalists buried here in 1800 and 1802. There are several unmarked graves and perhaps eight or ten graves marked by fieldstones without inscriptions. It is fenced and is reasonably well cared for. This date was collected by D. Bremner, M. D'Aoust, E. McGowan, and C. Wood for the Queens County Historical Society, on November 2, 1975. 1. Pam Fulton has added the following note to the bottom of the page: "Manley London, younger son of Edward Mills London and Deborah Chase, is also buried here: no stone remaining." Epenetus Chase (33), the father of Deborah Chase (28) is the son of Reuben Chase, s/o Isaac Chase and Thankful Maker (Mayflower descendant). Deborah Chase married Edward Mills London (29) but that is not the Chase connection to myself. My connection to the Chases is through Reuben Chase's daughter Charlotte (b. 1771) who married Jeremiah Johnson. Their daughter Salome (1797-1840) married John London (1782-1862) (his second marriage) and they had a son Cavalier(1821-1895) from whom I'm descended. John London and his first wife Sarah were the parents of Edward Mills London. Dr. Dalton London 140 Surrey Crescent Fredericton, N. B. E3B 4L3 Canada Tel. 506-457-4459 Fax 506-453-4777
