    3. David & ALL, Thank you to the 11 of you who contributed. Please NO MORE contributions at the moment please!! I am not sure just how much in Sterling you have transfered, Dave, as it is a Holiday Week-End here but $170 equates to about 106 Pounds and I have not contributed myself yet. Last Saturday I sent the following letter to the College of Arms:- College of Arms, Queen Victoria St., London EC4V 4BT Dear Sir, Chase Armorial Bearings. Further to your letter of 30 June last I wish to proceed with the research for any information regarding the name CHASE. My original enquiry was in regard to The CHASE families believed to have lived in the Essex area and nearby counties. Further information suggests that there may have been a CHASE living in Cornwall or Wales who may have been granted Armorial Bearings. This information is passed to you from what I know however I would not wish the research to be confined to those areas alone. I enclose a cheque for £120 as requested in your letter. As I am acting not only on my own behalf but also of a world wide group of family historians I would be pleased if you could advise me of some idea of the time scale involved to complete this work, yours sincerely, K.N.HUME At 18:08 30/08/98 -0700, you wrote: >There is room for one more.
