Daughter of Philip and Sarah (Odding) Sherman of Portsmouth, RI, Dartmouth Mass and Freetown Mass. Eber was born at Swansea and died there in 1740. He Mary at East Greenwich, RI 22 Oct 1706 Mary Knowles born at Warwick, RI, died at Swansea, daughter of William and Alice (Fish) Knowles. They lived in the part of Swansea that is now Somerset and belonged to the Swansea Monthly Meeting where Eber served as treasurer from 1734 to 1740. The town and church records of Swansea were published in book form by the NEHGS recently, in the early 1990s. These records may be of help. Steve Barrett
