Hello All, Major construction has gone on at my website lately and that is one of the reasons that you have not heard much from me. I hope you will come by and visit. http://home.wanadoo.nl/j.b.chace I have added a new Chace and Cornell Family Letters section which contains letters from Thomas Chace and from Elijah Cornell Chace, the builder of the house about which I have recently posted to this list. The section will grow as I have time to transcribe more of the letters. I have made a MAJOR addition to the Genealogical contents of my site and added 14 Cornell-Chace/Chase Marriages. In researching the Genealogy of the Cornell Family available online at Cornell University, I looked for every mention of Cornell marriages to Chace/Chase family members, recorded the complete Cornell Descendancies for each marriage, and have listed these at my site Along with that, I recorded what marriage information was available from the Genealogy or from what I could find on the web. In addition, the complete Descendancy of each Chace/Chase marriage partner has been listed, if known. You may be able to find some information to help you break down your own brick walls. And, finally, I have added a link to Nathaniel Hawthorne's book The Whole History of Grandfather's Chair or True Stories From New England History, 1620-1808. This book can be found in its entirety online and tells the story of a chair brought to America by Lady Arbella with the Winthrop Fleet. The chair then travels through early American history and encounters many notable American's. There is also information about the Quakers as well as the Salem Witch Trials. I find it fascinating reading. Hope you'll come by and sign the guestbook.
