Just realized that the query regarding Horace Chase that I sent out included a typo. It should read 1861, not 1961. "I inherited a slip of paper from my grandparents and my mother (a Chase) has no idea who this person is. I have a receipt from Horace Chase, Wholesale and Retail Fish Dealer, No. 1 Taber's Wharf, New Bedford dated 10 April 1861, (not 1961)." Becky Kangos rgkang@aol.com
