All, I have now arranged server space with surnameweb.org You will have seen my earlier messages on this and I hope that those of you that are interested in a "Common" CHASE database have visited www.surnameweb.org and visited the pages I suggested. Apart from offering space surnameweb are setting up cgi scripts,(these allow the server to process data) to allow not only a saving in server space but many other features descriptions of which can be found at the surnameweb.org site. The best way to see what these features are is to visit the site and follow the links to Surname resource centers. Look at the Partridge Site at:- http://www.surnameweb.org/centers/p/partridge This is the page Dennis Partridge has compiled for his own surname group. If you search his database you will see he has quite a few CHASE family including the "original" William. Every page on an individual in the dbase has the facility to ADD your own link. In otherwords you can leave an email or hyperlinked www site address so that anyone looking at William's data can see who has an interest/other info. I have left both my email and www address on William's CHASE's page.
