I am trying to verify the link between Dayton Warren REYNOLDS b. 5/6/1851, Fitchville, OH m. 5/22/1878 to Emma Frances NORRICK both buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk, Huron, OH and Dayton W. REYNOLDS, son of Theodore M. REYNOLDS & Melissa SHOLES, also of Fitchville, Huron, MI, m. 9/2/1849. Theordore and Melissa are mentioned in "Biographical Record of the Counties of Huron and Lorain, Ohio, published in 1894, and they are shown to have a son, Dayton W., but no DOB, and it states he was a farmer in Rice Co. KS. It seems logical that Dayton W could have been born a year and a half after their marriage, and Theodore and Melissa remained in Fitchville until their death. Theodore M. REYNOLDS b. 7/3/1826 Fairfield Co., CT son of Warren and Sarah (SCOFIELD) REYNOLDS d. ? - still alive in 1894 Melissa SHOLES b. 5/3/1823 Madison Co., NY daughter of Parley and Mary (HIDDEN) SHOLES d. ? - still alive in 1894 Sarah SCOFIELD died in MI on 3/21/1837. Warren REYNOLDS later married Ruth BARNES, of VT If anyone has any of this information and can help me verify that Dayton W and Dayton Warren are one and the same, I'd really appreciate it.
