I am hoping someone has come across this name somewhere along the line. I am trying to find the name of his parents. Romanty E. Chase born March 18, 1837 in Kittery, York, ME and died Sept. 22, 1894 in Kittery. He was married to Catherine M. Redmond. His children were Willis J. Chase, Charles Chase and Annie Chase Gunnison all born in Kittery. The town of Kittery does not have a birht certificate for him but the census lists him as being born in Kittery. He was in the Civil War - ME 27th Infantry Co G. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Mary Jo in Dover, NH
