A search of the 1928 Decendants of Thomas and Aquila Chase does not show any appropriate listing for a Charles D. Chase so from that, at least, it does not appear that he is from either of those lineages. (Looking through the book for an E. D. Chase would take considerable time since there are a lot of listings in the index for CHASE first names beginning with E . Also, since the son is not listed, I have doubts that the father is in this line -- and he would be difficult to identify in this documenttation even if he is...) I'll poke around as the opportunity permits. Dick Chase
