My chases where in Vt in late 1700's to Canada, then came back to US via Michigan, to Ill, to Iowa. I don't know where they were before Vt. We think NY. By the way to above moves were made in 1 generation. They moved a lot before settling in Iowa. Judi

Judi, My line is Wm 1, Wm2, Joseph, Stephen, etc. Stephen went to Nova Scotia and had children there. He was married 3 times. Some descendants probably came back to the US. Any of this sound familiar.....meaning the line of 4 above?
