There is a "Log in" on the page you initially open for using the database, but I'm not sure why it's there since you just ignore it and enter your search names (upper right window) and the database opens immediately to show the list of names that meet your search criteria. Thank you,Dick, You are correct. I had never spotted it as it is semi "greyed" out on my PC and I never expected it anyway. Having spotted that I looked at some of the other items on that menu and discovered that a visitor can search for any name. by clicking on "Surname" There is a listing of the most "popular" names with CHASE , at 2,355 nearly 6 times more than any other and the facility to look for any name.
