Hi,Bob, I came across this Chase Branch some years ago. One of the more reputable books also linked them to Chsham Chases. If I rember correctly part of the family moved on to Cornwall. I am not sure where I found this as my line is William, "..of the First Fleet" I have just looked on the CHASE site I started and run at www.chase.genealogysurnames.com Click on the College of Arms item. Click on the Items "Heralds Collections....." at the foot of the page. The page that you open has photocopies od a letter from College of Arms and is followed by various extracts from books. Click on the !The Chase Family" by Noble. Using the "Search " option in your Browser you will find lots of listings and location of LUTON Chase Wills. There is also reference to "Chase of...Luto and Cornwall" I am not sure how you get copies of Wills but no doubt Kew or the heritage Centre in London will know. ( Footnote. I lived in Luton as a boy when the War started but we got bombed out . HOWVER I am still a fan of LUTON TOWN F.C.!) There are extracts from this book on the web site below. Click on the "Coat of Arms" item and follow the link "Heralds Collections and Libraries". Then following copies of the letters received from the College you will see the link to Noble's book amongst a list with "The Seven Generations......." book and also a little know extract from the Mayo and Elton families . This has more information. I believe the entire book by Noble is on line somewhere, Keith Hume ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bob Chase" <chase@btopenworld.com> To: <chase@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, September 05, 2006 7:38 AM Subject: Re: [CHASE] Inquiry > There is also a book by Arthur Noble called "The Chase Family" published > in > 1967. > > I have a copy. > > -----Original Message----- > From: chase-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:chase-bounces@rootsweb.com] On > Behalf Of Keith Hume > Sent: 04 September 2006 23:30 > To: chase@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: [CHASE] Inquiry > > Hi,Bob, > I came across this Chase Branch some years ago.
