Does ANYONE have information on Samuel Rodman Chase or Chace. He was a sealer and was lost at sea Despatch. Colonial Government schooner, 20 tons. Built at Macquarie Harbour, Tasmania, 1825-1826. Captain Samuel Rodman Chase. Arrived at Hobart on her maiden voyage on 17 February 1826. Sailed from Hobart for Maria Island with stores in March 1826, but was never seen or heard from again.
