Clear DayI have received several e-mails in response to my posting of my Chase line. I want to answer to the group to share the responses with everyone. DICK - I thought I made it clear that much of my information was UNDOCUMENTED. Everyone on the list should be quite aware already of the AQUILA QUESTION. ART - The information I have on Aquila and back was taken from a book: CENTENNIAL HISTORY OF SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA by Rhamanthus M. Stocker. I have a copy of the pages that the information is on (1140-1141) The first paragraph begins: "Matthew Chase, the first member of this family of whom we have definite information, lived in the parish of Hundrich, Chesham, county Middlesex, England" I have not had the time to see if the book is available through inter-library loan to see if the author cites sources for his information, so I can't say if this info is supported by hard copy documentation. Maybe some one else in the group would have time to check this out. If not, I am hoping to get to it after the first of the year when my work load lets up. REX - This is the information I have on JOHN and CLARISSA's children. Hope it helps! 1. F Catharine 2. M John 3. M William 4. M Daniel K. b. abt 1815 d. 13 June, 1843 Broome Co, NY 5.
