In January/February of 2002, Jane Mercier printed all the obits from The Yarmouth Register of 1842-1845. Beginning in December of 2001, Bobbe Hall transcribed The Cape Cod Pilot: <<<Cape Cod Pilot, by Jeremiah Diggs, American Guide Series, published by Modern Pilgrim Press, Provincetown, MA, 1937. This was a work underwritten by the Federal Writers Project, Works Project Administration (WPA) for the State of Massachusetts.>>>> The Cape Cod Pilot gives a history of the towns of Cape Cod and also mentions some of the settlers therein. Jane Mercier also transcribed Soldiers & Sailors - to be found in the archived list (I found many Chases). The obits have all been consolidated at http://www.rootsweb.com/usgenweb/ma/mafiles.htm You can access the archived Massachusetts Barnstable List at http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/MABARNST The items which I have just enumerated are to be found from December 2001-March 2002 - but of course, all the archived material is worth reading!
