    3. Hi Richard and all, Sending to the Chase L in case anybody notes anything familiar. Also, someone was looking for a Hiram Chase. There is one in here.... Interesting info I recently found.... Is a book. "Ghosts in Residence", A. Von Behr, abt. dt. of Cornelius, below, Mary Chase as being ghost of the old Chase Farm in Chatham. Don't know if this farm 1st belonged to Benj.5 Chase. Keep waiting for book fr. Main Library. Supposed to have pics in it. Very INTERESTING............. 1. Is this the family you are looking for: See ii. Joseph, of Broadalbin, Fulton below? If there is a tie-in, I do have more on other children of Benj5 etc. I am looking for the final resting place of Benj5 Chase, 1st w., Elizabeth Durfee, & 2nd w. Mehitable Thurston. They lived in Chatham, Columbia co.NY. Also son Benj 6) , 1st w. Phebe Barnard Macy Chase, d. 2/23/1818.,prob. b. in Chatham. Is not in Rayville Cem, Town of Chatham, where most of Benj5)'s son Cornelius & much of his family are buried....info I just found!!!! Many Durfee's in Palmyra. Also saw a Durfee Farm Cem. , also a Case (Chase?) Farm Cem. in Sodus, .......where these people are supposed to have gone fr. Chatham, Columbia Co., NY. Altho Chatham Quaker Meeting records cleared them abt 1820 to go to Farmington, Ontario Co., it is believe that they ended up in either Sodus or Williamson, Wayne Co. NY. Looking for their final resting places too (Benj6 & wives). Also, any other info on them. Wayne Co. hase been of no help to me as they chg. $20/hr. for lookups. You must be the Richard who requested info on Wing Chase, correct, and received such fr. Retired Gramma on 9/4. Hope this helps. Happy to share info. Goodluck with your research.
