Hi Listers, I am trying to sort out the connections between the Westmorland Chases and those in Nova Scotia. Here is what I have: Stephen Chase (b. 2 May 1709), a planter who settled in Kings County Nova Scotia, had a son Jethro Chase (b. 13 June 1746). Jethro had a son Benjamin (b 26 August 1780). Benjamin moved to Sackville. I believe Benjamin married Isabel <Unknown> and had a son Benjamin Jr. Benjamin Jr married Mary Estabrooks and had a son Layton. I am trying to determine who the other children of Benjamin Chase Sr. were. I am especially interested in Chipman Chase and William Chase, who I am told were also sons of Benjamin Chase Sr. Chipman married Zilpha Snowdon.William Chase married Mariam Estabrooks and moved to Nova Scotia. Supposedly, Chipman's daughter Amy married William's son William. This marriage ended in divorce and Amy returned to Sackville area.
