I have a loose CHASE in my records and would like to confirm my guess about his parentage and marriages. This is what I think may be correct, but really have been unable to find proof: Caleb-5, Jonathan-4, John-3, William-2, William-1 born in Yarmouth, Barnstable Co, MA on 25 Sep 1713 and md Priscilla Godfrey there in Nov 1734. I have a Caleb Chase md to Mary Wixam/Wixon in Yarmouth, Barnstable Co., MA on 8 Sep 1736. "Some of the Descendants of William Chase" lists only 1 child for Caleb and Priscilla, so it would seem reasonable to presume that she died during or soon after he was born. There are some mention of this 2nd marriage in LDS pedigrees but no documentation. The marriage to Mary Wixan/Wixon is in Yarmouth VRs so I know it actually took place. It is also noted in Wixam/Wixon genealogies that I have. Since he is the only male of that name and in the right time frame, I think that his first wife died and he married a 2nd time.
