It is rare to find errors in John Carroll Chase's work "Some Descendants of William of Roxbury and Yarmouth", however it is heartening to know they do happen, even to such a meticulous researcher. Here it is, Peleg Chase (#60) had a daughter Content Chase b. 10 Feb 1734 at Swansea, who married 12 Jul 1757 one CLEMENT KING. trouble is, Nathan CHase and Elizabeth Shaw also had a daughter named COntent Chase (B.5 Jul 1741 in Tiverton) who also married CLEMENT KING a couple days earlier 10 Jul 1757 !! It's either a little error--- or a scandal of epic proportions ! Or a Ripley's Believe it or Not ---(2 Clements, 2 Contents married 2 days apart ?) Derek
