I descend from the Chases who lived in Wisconsin 150 years ago. Heman Chase & family moved from Lewis County, New York to Summit County, Ohio where Heman died. Around 1850 his son James W (& other Chases), James wife, Hannah, & their children moved to Wisconsin. First they were in Dane County but eventually settled in Chippewa County (Cooks Valley). James son, Charles, moved in his later years to Arkansas with his son, Arthur, my great grandfather. I know there were other Chases in Wisconsin. Are any of their decedants here on this list? I'd be happy to share what I have and hopefully obtain some new information in the process.
