Ginger and Keith, Good to hear from you both, you Ginger about William, and you Keith with a well received recognition of the 4th of July you posted yesterday. Thanks. I have been so very busy with work lately and have had no time to post. I am just swamped and snowed under at present. (a snowy swamp, what a mess!! :) Ginger, I am so sorry to hear that the raging fires have come so close. I don't know what the actual cause was in the Southwest and in Colorado, but it seems the fires were caused through malfeasance. What a shame. Jeffrey- I had posted a private response to Ginger - but I want to say public thank you to you, taking up the reins on the Continent, following in the footsteps of Keith Hume who did so much for us all (and thank you, Keith - for the good-spirited greetings to mark the celebration of the split between our countries). Sometimes we drop our research for six months or so due to family or business pressures, but then we pick it up with a "fresh" eye , a different tack, and lo and behold - a breakthrough is made! The answers to William's origins are out there, I feel sure. We're all hoping you will be the one to discover those origins..............We can wait. Best of luck! Judy Chace Needham
