While reading the most gracious holiday greeting from our "Limey" cousin Keith (His words, not mine), I was reminded of a humorous story. Many years ago my family and I were living in Bermuda. We spent about six years there. I had a very good English friend who was an employee of British Airways. He enjoyed teasing in a slightly sarcastic way. Every July 4th, he would say, "Isn't this the day that we gave you your independence?" to which I would reply. "No, it's the day that we whipped your butt and took it." That would silence him until he could think of a satisfactory comeback. To Keith and all of our other British friends, thanks it's good to have you as our allies in this war on terror. Art
