It is by no means complete but the researcher should be able to find out a large percentage of what he ir looking for here. The Guildhall Library Records with its copies of over 100 London Parish Registers and Lloyd's Lists of British Captains and Mates from mid 1800s s worth a look. These lists are not on-line but they are not averse to answering some queries by email as long as you do not ask for too much. Copies of Boyd's Marriages of England and Wales are here.
