I assume you are refering to William b.1597. If so there is a record of a William CHASE born to a Benjamin CHASE at Wivenhoe in 1597. The names of child and parent are convincing as is location and date. A copy of William's Birth from the Wivenhoe records is included in Ginger Reeder's excellent book. While on this subject Ginger's book is one of the best I have seen on this subject. Correction THE best. Lisa I would be most grateful if you sent these queries to the GROUP. All the info in the Database was supplied by GROUP members and I only feel competent to answer for my own part. At the moment I am getting something like loads emails a day associated with this Group. Many of which should be answered by those who are more competent to answer than I am. Furthermore these are then archived. While on this subject Sammy samuelson asked for volunteers to take over the Mailing list. Has anyone done this?
