Since Rex Gilman Chase is sending the "gloom and doom messages" I guess I had better follow his lead. To all of you who connect with William Chase of Cape Cod--I must say that they do not have any record of his wife's last name. It is unknown as far as I know. Many have claimed her last name was Townley but that is incorrect. Mary Townley was connected to the Chesham Chases and the Townley name was a name of "quality". (Not that all of us descendants aren't THE VERY HIGHEST QUALITY OF PEOPLE MIND YOU. William is not related to the Chesham Chases and after Rex Gilman Chase's dissertation---neither is Aquila related to the Chesham Chases. Got it folks---????? Now all of you people who are going to England this summer must rush over to Wales to dig around there ---that's still the unsolved clue we have since the Chronicles (Chase Chronicles) kept mentioning Wales as the place where the Chases---Aquila---came from .
