    3. Jane, I could find nothing on your relative in our database. I will however enter the details in the database. Have you any other CHASE descendants I can enter at the same time? He is obviously of the Loyalist Group. I have searched the Chase Land Records Index as if he was a Loyalist or son of one he would have been entitled to a Grant of Land. A Grant of 180 acres was made to a Samuel CHASE at 51,61 St David , St David Parish, Charlotte County on 1st November 1810. This looks highly promising and I would say refers to your relative. The important document is the Petition for the Land Grant as he will give his details and the fact he has children. Sometimes the ages of the children are given and on rare occasions their names.
