Hello List, I can't remember if I posted this queery on the List yet, I know I have it in the CHASE Gedfourm, so if this is a repeat, forgive me, but I'm not having much luck on my CHASE line yet. This is the information I have on my grgrgrgrandmother's family: Charles S. CHASE, d. Aug. 12, 1894, he is burried at the Evergreen Cemetery, Portland, ME One of his children was Albert CHASE, b. abt 1827, d.Jan 25, 1924, Albert is also burried in Evergreen Cemetery Portland, ME, he was living in Boston,MA in 1912; he married a Frances E. ?, b.abt 1834, d.1883; their children were: Rufus S. CHASE, I do not know any information on Rufus, except that he was an Episcopalian minister who was rector of Emanuel Episcopal Church of Wakefield, MA from 1905 to 1912, when he was transfered to some place in CA. William A. CHASE, b.abt 1854; d.April 28, 1907, he married a Louisa?; He purchased a burial plot in the Evergreen Cemetery, Portland, ME, in Mar.1886. He is also buried there, I have a letter from his wife sent to Albert, from London, England in 1912. Emeline D. CHASE, b.abt 1857; d.April 21, 1833, she married a William MASON, she resided with her brother Rufus, as housekeeper, from 1905 - 1912. To my knowledge she and William Mason did not live together, during those years but they did not divorce. Emeline died in Los Angles, CA. She is also buried in Evergreen Cemetery. Any one having information on this family or related families, I love to hear from you, I live in PA and getting information from ME is very difficult.
