Here's my question: If you are connected to William of Cape Cod ,where in Maine is the best place to do research on the descendants who settled in Maine? Where was their largest concentration? I know that William's descendants were connected to George Soule, the Pilgrim who came over on the Mayflower and I also know some of that name settled in Maine as I have interesting info. about them --the current group that is. In your opinion which Historic Society or library would be the best to visit if your time is limited? Have I troubled you enough? Another comment.
