I have a xerox copy of a photo from 1860..the handwriting is difficult to read but it is a picture of a man and woman with two young children on their laps. The inscription reads "The Blisses @1860" William (dates unreadable) and Celes?ea Chase (1836-1915) Children: Eva m Loren Murphy and George married Amanda Murphy. Celesl(?)ia is not part of my family..if anyone is interested in this. Also, additional references for Chase research: Rev. John Elliott, Apostle to Indians, Roxbury, Mass.
